Hello, I'm Darren! I'm a software engineer at a quantitative hedge fund, having recently graduated from MIT with bachelor's degrees in computer science and mathematics, and a master's degree in computer science.
Previously, I completed my thesis research in the Cybersecurity at MIT Sloan (CAMS) lab, and served as Head TA for 6.1200 Mathematics for Computer Science and co-director of the Probability Problem Solving IAP class. I also spent two summers as a software engineering intern at Amazon Devices.
Long ago, I was a competitive programmer, and co-founder of USACO Guide and the Competitive Programming Initiative.
Outside of work, my interests include travel, photography, piano, and rock climbing.
