Hello, I'm Darren! I'm a senior and concurrent master's student at MIT, studying computer science and mathematics with a concentration in artificial intelligence. I'm currently a student researcher in Cybersecurity at MIT Sloan (CAMS), as well as Head TA for 6.1200 Mathematics for Computer Science, and co-director of the Probability Problem Solving IAP class. I'm also involved in HackMIT, Chamber Music Society, MIT Climbing Team, and Theta Xi.
I spent two summers as a software engineering intern at Amazon Devices, where I automated the process of updating metrics and dashboards for Alexa devices, and wrote services for device configuration syncing, UI image loading, and metrics logging on Fire TV.
Previously, I was a competitive programmer, and co-founder of USACO Guide and the Competitive Programming Initiative.
When I'm not doing the above, you can find me traveling, taking photos of scenic landscapes (usually at sunset), playing the piano, or rock climbing.
